What the f*** happened? haha, well it was a rough summer!

What a whirlwind the past couple of months have been. As I stated in my last entry, I had to take some time off to recover from the damage caused by Hurricane Beryl and a particularly nasty bout of COVID. It was a rough stretch, but I’m grateful to be on the other side of it and feeling more inspired than ever.

By mid-August, I started easing back into my work and had the absolute pleasure of collaborating with two of my good friends, Lindsey Bonin and Lindsey Tierney Taylor (with individual projects). Working with these two incredible women reminded me of why I love what I do. Their energy, creativity, and friendship made jumping back into projects feel seamless and truly enjoyable. We created some amazing work together, and I am stoked to share it on here.

Late August took me to Austin, Texas, where I had the joy of photographing my longtime friend Shelby James – hadn't seen her in a bit. Being behind the camera with Shelby is always a blast; we picked up right where we left off and made some magic happen. I also had the opportunity to work with some new friends during this trip. Vianey Solis, who brought her vibrant spirit all the way from Mexico City, joined me for some sets that exceeded all expectations. Additionally, I collaborated with Yoli and Gigi, two talented and inspiring individuals who brought fresh perspectives and enthusiasm to our sessions. Each shoot was unique, and together we captured some truly killer moments I felt.

It’s great to be back doing what I love, surrounded by both familiar faces and new collaborators who continue to inspire me. As autumn approaches, I’m gearing up for more creative projects that I’m incredibly excited about.

Thank you all for your continued support and for sticking around during the downtime. Here's to new beginnings and the exciting journeys ahead!

The following shots are just a few of the images we got in August with my friends.  Many more shots will be posted here on my Instagram, so do follow!
